Pallas is where we practice the art of living

At it’s core, Pallas is founded on the idea of “why not?” a challenge to our held beliefs around what is possible. We wondered what it might be like to have a place that put a shared experience ahead of an end result. That prized collaboration over accomplishment. That asked us to embrace our creative selves and go do.

When Meryl approached Maggie to collaborate on a one time Art Pop Up she answered with a simple, “Yes! Why not?” What started as a single experiment “just to see” began to pull people from the neighborhood through the doors. Ideas, community, and conversation began to flow. The art studio evolved into a creative studio where projects are initiated. A board was formed of women who wanted to experience what it might be like to apply their talents in a new way — one not constrained by delivering a specific offering or adhering to time commitments but led by curiosity. There is nothing that is done within Pallas that was done alone, that wasn’t enriched by the people within her walls and in her neighborhood.

Pallas seeks to bring people together to expand what we view to be possible through art, creativity, and community. We will always be experimenting, evolving, and becoming. Come hang.
